Big problems on the eastern front.   So, this past week I have been home with Izzy.   It’s been a combination of things.   Izzy was kinda sick a couple of days, the baby-sitter’s kid was sick one day, then finally, the babysitter herself was sick.   I have been picking up Izzy from the babysitter after work because Ciriana has been working late.   Every time I picked her up, the babysitter and I would talk about stuff and I would leave.   I didn’t really get a bad vibe from her.   Well, last Tuesday afternoon she sends an email to Ciriana yammering about how we were rude to her and insulter her.   Wednesday she sends another similar email and Ciriana calls me Wednesday afternoon saying she just got these emails and if she has said anything to me.   I was floored, I never realized she felt hurt by us!   The emails were so surprising and sharp that we decided to let her go.   Someone that cannot talk to me about how they feel while they are taking care of my kid… should not be taking care of my kid.

So, I am at home taking care of Izzy.   We were trying to find someone that wold replace the previous babysitter, but we thought about it and we decided that it would be better for Izzy if one of us stayed at home.   Since Ciriana is still bound by contract, it is up to me to take care of the munchkin.   I will be going on unpaid leave for the next couple of months or until Ciri can get released from the army.   Yup, I will be the at-home Dad!   Yay!   Sort of.   Money will be tight… but you don’t need to hear about that!

Anyway, so it’s been a bit crazy around here but now that we have decided a route for ourselves, things should simmer down a bit.   Just wanted to get   quasi-quick update out there.   By the way, anybody got some work from home jobs they know about?
