You all know I am a BIG FF fan.   I want FFXIII NOW!   Sigh.   Until the game comes out, I’m stuck drooling over whatever teaser video the big S can give me.   Like the one they just released.   Can’t embed the video so follow the link to SquareEnix’s FFXIII site.

I also want to say that the franchise has come a long way.   In game battles are *awesome*

I’ve been a Final Fantasy fan since the Super Nintendo days, but I really became a FF Geek with FF7, like most FF fans.   Unfortunately, the last FF game I’ve been able to play was FFX-2, the first video game sequel Squareenix made.   Growing up and raising a family will do that to a man.

Anyway, today I saw this via The Brothers Brick: Lego Minifigs of the Final Fantasy X-2 cast!   Now, the minifigs (mini-figures for you non-lego fans) are actually just photoshop renders, but from what I read the detail will be accurate on the printed decals.

I don’t know why I have been jonesin’ for some Final Fantasy.   I went searching my cd cases for all of my Final Fantasy music that I backed up to data CD’s just in case (I lost all my mp3′s some time ago, good thinking on my part! Yay!).   I uploaded them all to the Precious the other day and I have been listening non stop.

I got Final Fatnasy X-2 in the mail after trading one of Ciri’s books on Swap Tree.   Heh heh.   Haven’t had the time to play it, though.   I’m looking to get more FF games for the DS, especially FFTA2! I can play my DS anywhere, even while I am taking care of the baby.   She likes to sleep on me and when she does, I’m pretty much stuck on the couch… and TV gets boring.   So I’m hoping to come accross someone on Swap Tree that wants to trade FFTA2 for another stupid interesting book.   Oh yea, I forgot to mention I finally finished FFTA last week.   Kind of a weak ending, but it was still a lot of fun to play.   I was looking for my Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSX set and I couldn’t find it.   I’m trying to remember if I traded it in at EB games at one point.   I remember the game was stupid hard, and I really hated it.   Now I want to give it a try again.   Oh well, one game at a time I guess.   Besides, I have many other projects I have to worry about right now.

I’ve said before that Final Fantasy is my favorite RPG brand of all time.   I recently picked up Final Fantasy Tactics for the Game Boy Advance again.   It’s been a while since I last played it, and, as a matter of fact, I never actually finished it.   I’m like that with video games, I get about half way (or more) and then never really finish them.     A couple of years ago I finished Final Fantasy 7 just in time for the movie.   That’s like 10 years or something.

Square Enix released the next installment to the FF line: Final Fantasy Tactics A2.   It follows the same world of FF12, FFTAdvance, and a few others.   It’s a different story but it takes place in the same “world.”   Anyway, FFTactics for the Playstation was really hard to play, but it was tons of fun.   FFTA (for the Gameboy advance) is easy to play and I think I am almost done with it, just in time for the next installment!

Unfortunately, I can’t go out and buy games like I used to, so i may have to wait a while before I go out and get it.   Although, I got Ciriana onto a website for swapping books with other people, but they also do movies, games, and music.   I put some of my old games on there in hopes of getting my hands on some FFTA2.   Heh heh.
