WordCamp RDU gets cancelled four days prior

See what happens when I get excited?   I just checked my feeds for the day and found out that the Wayne Sutton, the guy coordinating WordCampRDU, had to cancel the whole thing, just days before the actual event.   I’m sure the poor dude tried everything he could, but I guess it wasn’t enough.
